Description: If this is a Field Replaceable Unit or if it is part of another FRU, this provides an index into the FRU table; 'value = -1' indicates that the group is not a FRU.
What is fRUGroupIndex?
This reports the index into the FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) table if the pointing device is itself a FRU or part of one, with a value of -1 meaning it is not a FRU. An admin uses this to cross-reference the pointing device with its field-replaceable part record for service/repair purposes.
