dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPriority

Module: DLINKSW-DOS-PREVENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): DLINKSW-DOS-PREVENT-MIB::dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.59.1.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object configures the priority for the redirected attacking packets. Valid priority values are from 0 to 7. A value of 8 indicates that the original priority will not be changed when the packet is redirected. This object can only be modified for entries whose value of dDoSPrevCtrlEnabled is 'true', dDoSPrevCtrlActionType is 'redirect' and dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPort is specified. Otherwise, inconsistentValue error will be returned.

What is dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPriority?

This read-write integer, from 0 to 8, sets the priority assigned to redirected attack packets, where values 0-7 are actual priority levels and 8 means the packet's original priority is left unchanged. An admin configures it so redirected attack traffic can be de-prioritized (or otherwise queued) on the capture path, and the source DESCRIPTION requires this to only be changed once the row is enabled, set to redirect, and has a valid redirect port, otherwise the switch returns inconsistentValue. For example, an admin might set this to 0 to push redirected attack traffic into the lowest-priority queue on the capture port, rather than leaving it at the default of 8 (unchanged priority).

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.59.1.3.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DLINKSW-DOS-PREVENT-MIB::dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPriority

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.59.1.3.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DLINKSW-DOS-PREVENT-MIB::dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPriority.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.59.1.3.1.5.1 i <value>
