dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPort

Module: DLINKSW-DOS-PREVENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): DLINKSW-DOS-PREVENT-MIB::dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.26.59.1.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: InterfaceIndexOrZero

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates the port to which the attacking packet will be redirected. A value of 0 means redirect port is unspecified. This object can only be modified for entries whose value of dDoSPrevCtrlEnabled is 'true' and dDoSPrevCtrlActionType is 'redirect'. Otherwise, inconsistentValue error will be returned.

What is dDoSPrevCtrlRedirectPort?

This read-write value specifies the interface index of the port to which matched attack traffic will be redirected, with 0 meaning no redirect port is specified. An admin sets it, per the source DESCRIPTION, only when dDoSPrevCtrlEnabled is true and dDoSPrevCtrlActionType is 'redirect'; any other combination causes the switch to reject the change with an inconsistentValue error. For example, an admin might set this to the ifIndex of a dedicated capture port so attack packets get forwarded there for offline analysis instead of being dropped.
