swSystemTimeZone

Module: DLINK-TIME-MIB

OID (symbolic): DLINK-TIME-MIB::swSystemTimeZone

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.10.10.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Local time offset in minutes from GMT.

What is swSystemTimeZone?

This field sets the local time zone offset, in minutes, from GMT. Admins configure this so timestamps in logs and displayed times reflect the device's local time rather than UTC. For example, setting swSystemTimeZone to -300 configures a UTC-5 offset for Eastern Standard Time.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DLINK-TIME-MIB::swSystemTimeZone

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.10.10.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DLINK-TIME-MIB::swSystemTimeZone.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.10.10.4.1 i <value>
