dlbAthTxUsedAlternateAntenna is a read-only Counter32 tallying number of times alternate antenna was used for transmission for this Atheros interface (row keyed by ifIndex) since the interface (or peer entry) came up, and it wraps back to zero once it overflows 32 bits. It shows how the Atheros antenna-diversity logic is distributing traffic across the interface's physical antenna ports, which helps a sysadmin confirm that a specific antenna isn't being starved of traffic or that diversity switching is actually engaging on a marginal link.
