dlbAthRateCtrlRaisedXmitRate is a read-only Counter32 tallying rate control raised transmission rate for this Atheros wireless interface (row keyed by ifIndex) since the interface (or peer entry) came up, and it wraps back to zero once it overflows 32 bits. It reflects the Atheros chipset's automatic RF calibration and rate-adaptation logic reacting to changing radio conditions, so a sysadmin sees it tick up during normal operation and would only worry if the paired failure counter for the same subsystem also rises.
