Module: DISMAN-SCHEDULE-MIB

OID (symbolic): DISMAN-SCHEDULE-MIB::schedContextName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.63.1.2.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: SnmpAdminString

Access: read-create

Description: The context which contains the local MIB variable pointed to by schedVariable.

What is schedContextName?

This object names the SNMP context in which the target variable referenced by schedVariable resides. It lets the scheduler correctly resolve schedVariable when the agent implements multiple SNMP contexts, such as separate contexts per virtual device instance. For example, leaving it as the default empty string targets the default context, while setting it to "vlan100" would target that VLAN's context instance of the variable.
