Description: If the source IP address of the received IP multicast packet matches the Ipmrouteaddress, the Rpfaddress will be used to check whether the packet received is from a legal interface. If it is set to null, it means that if the source IP address in the received IP multicast packet matches the Ipmrouteaddress, the RPF check will fail.
What is swL3IpMcastStaticRouteRpfAddr?
The RPF (reverse-path) next-hop address used to validate that multicast packets from the matching source arrived on a legitimate interface; if left null, any packet from that source range fails the RPF check outright. Admins configure this to statically define the expected upstream path for a multicast source when dynamic unicast routing doesn't already provide the right RPF interface.
