Module: DGS3627-SWL3MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): DGS3627-SWL3MGMT-MIB::swL3OspfExternalLsdbMetric
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.70.6.3.13.2.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-only
Description: Enter the metric (1 - 65535; 0 for auto cost) of this area.
What is swL3OspfExternalLsdbMetric?
Reports the metric (0-65535, 0 meaning auto-cost) actually carried inside this external LSA -- the cost the originating ASBR advertised for reaching the external destination. The vendor's own DESCRIPTION, 'Enter the metric ... of this area,' is copy-pasted verbatim from the writable swL3ospfAreaMetric config object (and repeats identically on the sibling swL3OspfInternalLsdbMetric object) and does not fit here, since external routes are not scoped to an area and this is a read-only monitoring field, not a settable area value.
