Description: The way multicasts should forwarded on this interface; not forwarded, forwarded as data link multicasts, or forwarded as data link uni- casts. Data link multicasting is not meaning- ful on point to point and NBMA interfaces, and setting ospfMulticastForwarding to 0 effective- ly disables all multicast forwarding.
What is swL3ospfIfMulticastForwarding?
Controls how multicasts are forwarded on this interface: blocked(1) (no multicast forwarding, default), multicast(2) (as data-link multicasts), or unicast(3) (as data-link unicasts to each neighbor). Admins use unicast(3) on point-to-point/NBMA links where data-link multicasting isn't meaningful.
