Description: The value, in seconds, of the serverTimeout constant currently in use by the Backend Authentication state machine.
What is dot1xAuthServerTimeout?
How long, in seconds, the switch's 802.1x Backend Authentication state machine waits for a response from the RADIUS/authentication server before timing out (default 30). Increasing it can help on slow or distant authentication servers, at the cost of slower failure detection when the server is truly down.
