configMirrorTXSrc

Module: DGS-1248T-BX-MIB

OID (symbolic): DGS-1248T-BX-MIB::configMirrorTXSrc

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.76.6.11.8.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: PortList

Access: read-write

Description: When mirroring is enabled , this identifies the TX mirroring source port.This value has a valid range of 1 to ifNumber when enbaled.Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight ports, with the first octet specifying ports 1 through 8, the second octet specifying ports 9 through 16, etc.Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest numbered port, and the least significant bit represents the highest numbered port. Thus, each port of the bridge is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of '1' then that port is included in the set of ports; the port is not included if its bit has a value of '0'.

What is configMirrorTXSrc?

Bitmap selecting which ports have their transmitted (egress) traffic copied to the mirror monitor port. Each bit represents one port, letting an admin mirror only the specific uplinks or hosts they need to troubleshoot.
