What is deviceTotalMemory?

This value reports the total amount of physical memory installed in the device, measured in kilobytes. An admin uses this as the reference figure against which to compare deviceMemoryUsage, to calculate how much of the device's memory capacity is actually in use. For example, a value of 262144 would indicate the device has 256 MB of total memory installed.
