Description: The way multicasts should forwarded on this interface; not forwarded, forwarded as data link multicasts, or forwarded as data link uni- casts. Data link multicasting is not meaning- ful on point to point and NBMA interfaces, and setting ospfMulticastForwarding to 0 effective- ly disables all multicast forwarding.
What is swL3ospfIfMulticastForwarding?
Controls how OSPF multicasts are sent on this interface: blocked(1), the default, disables multicast forwarding entirely (appropriate on point-to-point and NBMA links where it is not meaningful), while multicast(2) or unicast(3) forward OSPF traffic using the corresponding data-link method.
Examples

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.105.4.3.8.1.16.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DES3552P-SWL3MGMT-MIB::swL3ospfIfMulticastForwarding.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.105.4.3.8.1.16.1 i <value>
