swL3Ipv6CtrlRaState
Module: DES3528-SWL3MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): DES3528-SWL3MGMT-MIB::swL3Ipv6CtrlRaState
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.105.1.3.2.1.4.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Neighbor solicited state.
What is swL3Ipv6CtrlRaState?
Enables or disables sending IPv6 Router Advertisement (RA) messages on this interface. The object's name and its position among the RA-tuning siblings (swL3Ipv6CtrlRaMinRtrAdvInterval, swL3Ipv6CtrlRaLifeTime, etc.) make clear this is the RA on/off switch, even though the shipped DESCRIPTION text, 'Neighbor solicited state', looks like a copy-paste leftover and does not actually describe it. Set to enabled(1) so the switch periodically advertises itself as an IPv6 default router on this interface; disabled(2) stops RA transmission, e.g. where only static IPv6 routing is used.
