What is configMirrorMon?
configMirrorMon selects which physical port acts as the monitoring (destination) port for port mirroring, valid from 1 up to the number of ports on the switch. An admin plugs a packet-capture tool or IDS sensor into whichever port number is set here to see the mirrored traffic.
