What is bpDropsEgTxErrCounter?
This Counter64 counts general transmit errors encountered while sending packets out a backplane hiGig port. Admins use it as a catch-all indicator of egress-side backplane problems on a given stack unit and port pipe, checked alongside the more specific egress drop counters in the same table row. A steady increase warrants checking cabling or hardware on that fabric link.
