What is bpDropsEgTxAgedCounter?
This Counter64 tracks packets dropped on egress from a backplane hiGig port because they aged out in the transmit queue before being sent. It helps an admin spot backplane egress congestion severe enough that packets are timing out rather than just queuing. Consistent increments indicate the egress path on that BP port pipe cannot keep up with offered fabric traffic.
