OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.36.2.18.17.1.2

Description: Indicates if the VCI 16 can be used to carry configuration management traffic with a escape sequence 0x55 (instead of SNMP ASN.1 header).

What is adEscapeSupport?

This flag tells you whether the device's VCI 16 channel can carry configuration-management traffic tagged with a special 0x55 escape byte instead of a normal SNMP ASN.1 header. It matters mainly to management tools that need an alternate, lower-overhead path into the switch besides SNMP itself.
