Module: DDS-MIB

OID (symbolic): DDS-MIB::ddsTxClockSource

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.498.8.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The DSU transmit clock source option. This is the selection for the transmitter timing clock source. If connecting to a DDS circuit the value of receive(1) must be selected.

What is ddsTxClockSource?

Selects where the DSU's transmit timing comes from: recovered from the line (receive), generated internally, or driven by the attached DTE (external). When the unit is on an actual DDS circuit this must be set to receive(1), the network-derived clock.
