Description: The CTS delay option. Cts delay option of ctsOn(1) forces both RTS and CTS On regardless of the state of the attached business equipment. The CTS delay option provides a variable delay between RTS and CTS on transitions. The delays of 0msec, 3 character, 30msec, 60msec, and 90msec are selectable.
What is ddsDteCfgCtsDelay?
Sets how long CTS lags RTS's on-transition, from immediate (ctsOn forces both permanently on) through fixed 3-character time or 0/30/60/90ms delays. An admin tunes this to match the timing the attached DTE equipment expects before it starts sending.
