Description: The Circuit Assurance option. The enable(2) configures the DSU to clamp CTS upon receiving the following Network codes:
1. IDLE(no DCD) 2. Out of Service Code (OOS) 3. Abnormal Station Code (ASC) 4. No Signal(not a network code) 5. other inactive channel codes (ICC)
When the value of this object is disable(1) no action occurs for any of the above network conditions.
What is ddsDteCfgCircuitAssurance?
When enabled, makes the DSU clamp CTS off upon receiving network idle/out-of-service/abnormal-station or no-signal codes from the far end, preventing the DTE from transmitting into a dead circuit; disabled(1) takes no action on those conditions.
