What is consMonMsgFilter?
This read-write string holds the pathname of the file used to filter console messages before they are reported. Admins set this to point the agent at a specific filter file so only matching BS2000 console messages get processed or forwarded as traps. For example, setting it to /etc/consmon/filter.cfg tells the agent to load that filter definition.
