TP_OCI
What is cyanAlarmTpOci?
This OID is a notification (SNMP trap) sent by a CYAN device when a TP_OCI (Tributary Port Optical Channel Interface) alarm condition occurs. It alerts monitoring systems to problems with optical ports. Network operators receive this notification to immediately respond to optical interface failures.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' CYAN-MIB::cyanAlarmTpOci snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.28533.5.20.30.66
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
