What is cyanAlarmTpLop?
This OID triggers a network alarm notification when a Transmission Path Loss of Pointer (TP_LOP) condition is detected on an optical link. Operationally, this indicates the optical receiver has lost synchronization with the incoming signal—a critical failure in optical transmission. A network operator would be alerted by this alarm when an optical port stops receiving valid signal, requiring immediate investigation of fiber connectivity or transceiver health.
