Description: The portClass represents the standard class of the port shown as
follows:
Class usage Class current Power range Class description

2 Optional 17-20 3.84-6.49 Low power
3 Optional 26-30 6.49-12.95 Mid power
4 Valid for 36-44 12.95-25.50 High power
Class 4 for 802.3at(Type 2) devices and not allowed for 802.3af
devices. Note that a portClass of Default can also exist if a
      portStatus is not connected.

What is portClass?

This value reports the IEEE 802.3af/at power class the connected powered device negotiated on this port, ranging from 0 (default/unimplemented) through 4 (high power, up to 25.5W). An admin reads it to verify a device negotiated the power class it needs, such as confirming a PTZ camera got class 4 instead of being capped lower. A portClass of 2 indicates the device negotiated low power in the 3.84-6.49 watt range.
