This value reports the local network interface used as the nexthop for routes learned from a BGP unnumbered neighbor, a BGP peering setup that uses a directly connected interface rather than a specific IP address to identify the neighbor. Administrators check this to confirm which physical or logical interface a given unnumbered BGP session's routes are actually being routed out through. For example, this object might return "swp5" to show that routes from a particular BGP peer are reached via that specific switch port interface.
