ctronFnbConnectLeft

Module: CTRON-FNBTR-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-FNBTR-MIB::ctronFnbConnectLeft

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.6.1.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Denotes the connection status of the Token Ring board to the left of the current one. An attempt to set a value of 1 or 4 will result in an error code of badValue.

What is ctronFnbConnectLeft?

Reports and lets an admin influence the connection status of the FNB ring path to the Token Ring board physically to the left of this one, with values other(1), detached(2), attached(3), or faulted(4). Admins read this to diagnose FNB ring continuity issues between adjacent boards, and note that attempting to set the values other(1) or faulted(4) is rejected with a badValue error. ctronFnbConnectLeft reading faulted(4) for a given slot indicates a break in the FNB connection to the neighboring board on its left, prompting a check of that backplane connection.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.6.1.1.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-FNBTR-MIB::ctronFnbConnectLeft

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.6.1.1.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-FNBTR-MIB::ctronFnbConnectLeft.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.6.1.1.1.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ctronFnbConnectLeft.1
