Description: Number of instances when loss of DCE has been detected.
What is swanDCEDrops?
This read-only Counter counts the number of times loss of DCE (Data Communications Equipment) signal has been detected on this WAN port. An admin monitors this to catch intermittent carrier or CSU/DSU signal drops on the WAN circuit. A climbing swanDCEDrops count would point the admin toward investigating the CSU/DSU or the carrier's line for an unstable physical connection.
