Description: Setting straceOperation to on will begin the traceroute request. Setting straceOperation to off will terminate the traceroute request.
What is straceOperation?
Setting this to on begins the traceroute request, while setting it to off terminates it. It's the control an admin uses to actually launch or stop a device-initiated path trace after the destination and probe parameters are configured. After setting straceDestAddr and straceMaxTTL, an admin sets straceOperation to on to start mapping the path.
