What is srtbExplorer?
This sets the type of explorer frame transmitted for source-route bridging discovery, either ARE, meaning all-routes explorer, or STE, meaning spanning-tree explorer. The choice affects how the bridge discovers paths across a source-routed Token Ring network, trading off thoroughness against network overhead. An admin wanting to reduce explorer-frame traffic on a large Token Ring network might switch srtbExplorer from are to ste.
