Description: Specifies whether or not this port is to be used for Novell NetWare IPX routing.

What is sprotoIpxRoute?

This read-write enumerated INTEGER specifies whether this port is used for Novell NetWare IPX routing, with an additional ipxsr(3) option for IPX source-route environments. An admin enables this on ports that need to route IPX traffic in a Novell NetWare environment. Setting sprotoIpxRoute to ipxsr(3) would be used on a Token Ring port carrying IPX traffic that relies on source-route bridging.
