What is sprotoIpMulticast?
This read-write enumerated INTEGER specifies whether RFC-1075 Internet Multicast Routing Protocol is used over this port, valid only when sprotoIpRoute is enabled. An admin enables this on ports that need to participate in multicast routing using the older DVMRP-predecessor protocol. Enabling sprotoIpMulticast on a routed port lets it forward IP multicast traffic using this legacy multicast routing protocol.
