Description: Identifies the interface (port) to which this entry's information belongs. The value of this variable corresponds to ifIndex, as well as most of the other port identification values in related MIBs.
What is sprotoIfIndex?
This read-only INTEGER identifies the interface (port) an sproto table entry describes, corresponding to ifIndex and most other port identification values used across related MIBs in this device. An admin uses this to correlate a given protocol-configuration row with the same physical port referenced elsewhere, such as in interface statistics tables. Matching sprotoIfIndex to a known ifIndex lets the admin find which port's bridging protocol settings are described in a specific sprotoTable row.
