Description: Number of oversized packets not mirrored.
What is smirrorOversizeDroppedPkts?
This counter tracks the number of oversized packets that were dropped rather than mirrored. It tells the admin how often the oversize-handling policy set in smirrorOversizePkt is actually discarding traffic during capture. If smirrorOversizeDroppedPkts is high, an admin capturing jumbo-frame traffic might switch smirrorOversizePkt to truncate instead of discard.
