Description: A count of the number of routers that must be traversed to reach this server.
What is sipxSapHopCount?
This read-only INTEGER counts the number of routers that must be traversed to reach the server advertising this service. An admin uses this to gauge how far away, in router hops, a given advertised NetWare service actually is from this device. A rising sipxSapHopCount for a formerly nearby service would suggest a more direct route to that server has been lost, forcing traffic over a longer path.
