What is ruleFilterIpOption?

This boolean controls whether to filter packets whose IP header length is not the standard length, i.e. packets carrying IP options. Packets with IP options are unusual in normal traffic and are sometimes used to probe or exploit routers, so filtering them tightens a rule's security posture. An admin locking down a rule against IP-option-based scanning would enable ruleFilterIpOption.
