Description: Whether to forward OSPF packets (IP protocol 89).
What is ruleAllowOspf?
This boolean controls whether OSPF routing packets, IP protocol 89, are forwarded under this rule. If disabled, OSPF neighbors on either side of this filtered circuit would fail to exchange routing updates, breaking dynamic routing. An admin who just enabled OSPF on this segment would need to confirm ruleAllowOspf is set to allow it through.
