What is ppeTraceroutePduMemoryFailures?
This read-only Counter tracks the number of unsuccessful attempts to allocate memory for a TraceRoute PDU. An administrator uses a rise here to explain gaps or timeouts observed while running a traceroute against the device during a memory-starved period. For example, the admin runs traceroute to the ES/1 during a busy period and sees ppeTraceroutePduMemoryFailures increment alongside missing hops in the trace output.
