What is ppeRipRouteDiscards?
This read-only Counter tracks the number of times a route learned via RIP was not added to the IP Routing Table due to insufficient routing table space. An administrator treats a rising count as a sign the routing table needs more memory headroom. For example, the admin sees ppeRipRouteDiscards increasing and reduces the memory share reserved for bridging via ppeBridgingMemory to give the routing table more room.
