Description: The value to assign to ipRouteMetric2, when adding an OSPF-learned entry to the IP Routing Table.
What is ppeOspfPreference?
This read-write INTEGER sets the value assigned to ipRouteMetric2 when an OSPF-learned entry is added to the IP Routing Table, ranking OSPF routes against static, RIP, and EGP sources. An administrator tunes it to control OSPF's relative trust level in the route-selection tie-break. For example, the admin sets ppeOspfPreference more favorably than ppeRipPreference so OSPF routes take priority over RIP routes to the same destination.
