This read-only INTEGER gives the ifIndex of the interface on which datagrams from a given source to a given multicast address are received. An admin uses this to confirm multicast traffic is entering on the interface expected for that source. For example, an InIfIndex pointing to a different interface than the router's normal unicast route to that source would indicate an RPF mismatch worth investigating.
