Module: CTATX-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::hwSysProcessor
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
What is hwSysProcessor?
This read-only INTEGER identifies which pair of AMD 29K-family CPUs powers the management engine, either dual-29000(1) or the faster dual-29030(2). An administrator uses it to correlate firmware compatibility or performance complaints with the actual CPU generation installed. For example, when a new firmware image refuses to load, support checks hwSysProcessor to see whether the unit has the older dual-29000(1) pair instead of the required dual-29030(2).
