Description: A unique value for each SMT. It represents the sequence number of the FDDI board in ES/1.
What is fddismtIndex?
This read-only INTEGER is a unique value identifying each SMT (Station Management entity), representing the sequence number of the FDDI board in the ES/1. An administrator uses it to tell which physical FDDI board a given SMT-related row refers to on a chassis with multiple FDDI boards. For example, the admin uses fddismtIndex to confirm an upstream-neighbor query result belongs to the second FDDI board installed in the chassis, not the first.
