configDumpEnd

Module: CTATX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATX-MIB::configDumpEnd

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.3.1.21

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Ending address of memory to dump upon detecting a fatal error.

What is configDumpEnd?

This read-write INTEGER sets the ending address of the memory range captured when a fatal error triggers a diagnostic dump, paired with configDumpStart to bound the range. An engineer uses it to keep the dump small enough to be practical over the UART port rather than dumping an entire module's memory. For example, engineering sets configDumpEnd just past configDumpStart to capture only a few kilobytes around the suspect region instead of the whole address space.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.3.1.21
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTATX-MIB::configDumpEnd

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.3.1.21.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTATX-MIB::configDumpEnd.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.97.3.3.1.21.1 i <value>
