pClassifyRTPState

Module: CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::pClassifyRTPState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object will enable or disable modification of the TOS precedence field and the 802.1 P/Q tagging. A value of NoModification(1) implies that modification is not allowed. OnlyQTag(2) means that only 802.1 P/Q tagging is allowed. When this object has a value OnlyQTOS(3), modification of only the TOS precedence field is permitted. QTagAndQTOS means that both TOS precedence modification and P/Q tagging is allowed.

What is pClassifyRTPState?

This read-write INTEGER selects among noModification, onlyQTag, onlyQTOS, and qTagAndQTOS to control whether the TOS precedence field and 802.1 P/Q tagging are modified for classified RTP traffic. An admin sets this to choose which QoS marking mechanism, if any, the device applies to RTP packets. For example, setting this to qTagAndQTOS(4) makes the device stamp both an 802.1Q priority tag and a TOS precedence value onto outgoing RTP packets for end-to-end QoS treatment.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::pClassifyRTPState

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.3.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::pClassifyRTPState.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.3.1.2.1 i <value>
