pClassifyRTPLowDelayQueuePreference

Module: CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::pClassifyRTPLowDelayQueuePreference

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This value represents one of eight preference levels, 0 through 7, with 0 being the worst and 7 the best. The value will be translated by the device into a three bit binary number. This value shall be used to put incoming RTP packets on an internal queue.

What is pClassifyRTPLowDelayQueuePreference?

This read-write INTEGER, ranging 0 through 7 with 0 being the worst and 7 the best, sets the preference level used to place incoming RTP packets on an internal low-delay queue, translated by the device into a three-bit binary value. An admin sets this to control how aggressively RTP voice/video traffic is prioritized relative to other queued traffic. For example, setting this to 7 ensures RTP media streams get the highest possible internal queue preference to minimize jitter during network congestion.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::pClassifyRTPLowDelayQueuePreference

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CT-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::pClassifyRTPLowDelayQueuePreference.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.5.1.1.1 i <value>
