This read-write Integer32 sets, in milliseconds, how much packet delay variation (jitter) the CP-IWF's playout buffer is configured to absorb across all its ports. It lets an admin trade off voice latency against tolerance for network jitter; a deeper buffer smooths out more jitter but adds delay to the call. Increasing this value on a network known to have variable ATM cell delay can reduce audible choppiness at the cost of slightly higher call latency.
