What is wan10gSdhTestSignalType?
This OID selects which type of test signal, or none by default, is generated on this WAN 10G SDH interface. Injecting a defined test pattern lets an operator verify the interface's transmission integrity end-to-end, such as checking for bit errors, without needing live customer traffic on the circuit. For example, an operator commissioning a new SDH circuit might select a test signal here to run a bit-error-rate test before handing the circuit off to carry real client traffic.
