Entity type have smaller granularity referring to different service functions, e.g. 100GBase-R, 40GBase-R, 100GBase-R, ODU4, ODU2, ODU3, OTU4, OTUC2... Separate functions will have different entity types so that profile can be set differently for different service function which is more corresponding to user application.

What is standingConditionFmEntityType?

This indicates the fine-grained entity type, such as ODU4 or 100GBase-R, that a currently active condition is associated with. It lets an admin see exactly which service layer of a port is affected by an ongoing fault. For example, a standing condition with entity type OTU4 tells the admin the wrapper framing layer is at fault, distinct from a sub-multiplexed ODU2 channel on the same port.
